Abdullah Bin Zayed Holds Talks With Czech Foreign Minister In Prague

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, engaged in discussions with Jan Lipavsky, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, during his official visit to Prague. The aim of their meeting was to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between their respective countries.

The ministers explored opportunities for advancing collaboration between the UAE and the Czech Republic across various sectors such as economics, investments, and development. They emphasized the mutual benefits that such cooperation could bring to both nations and their citizens.

Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its ties with the Czech Republic, commending the ongoing progress in bilateral cooperation. In response, the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed Sheikh Abdullah’s visit and expressed his country’s keenness to deepen cooperation with the UAE on multiple fronts.

The discussion also touched upon recent developments in the Middle East region, particularly concerning the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip. Sheikh Abdullah stressed the importance of concerted regional and international efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire, safeguard civilian security, and address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. He also underscored the necessity of international cooperation in combating extremism, reducing tension, and ensuring the protection of civilian lives in the region.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Dr. Ghalia Ali Al Humaidan, Charge d’Affaires at the UAE Embassy in the Czech Republic, alongside Jiri Kozak, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
