The upcoming lunar eclipse scheduled for March 25th will be a penumbral lunar eclipse.
In a penumbral eclipse, the moon passes through the penumbra, which is the dimmer outer region of Earth's shadow.
The eclipse will also be observable in certain regions of Ireland, Belgium, Spain, England, southern Norway, and Italy.

Just weeks before a total solar eclipse on April 8, this celestial event will occur.
According to NASA, the next lunar eclipse is projected to be partial and is scheduled for September 18, 2024.
